How to install HTC Keyboard

  1. First you should go to Cyanogen Download Page
  2. Download HTC_IME.apk
  3. Now put HTC_IME.apk on your SD card.
  4. Install the HTC_IME.apk by clicking on it with a file browser such as Astro File Manager, Or Linda File Manager.(Note: Make sure you have allowed non market app installs by going to Settings -> Applications -> Unknown Sources.)
  5. Once installed (may need a reboot). Go to Settings -> Locale & Text -> Check "Touch Input"
  6. Now go to anywhere you can type a message and long hold in the message bar. A notification will pop up to say which input method. Choose Touch Input

If you want the calibration feature of the HTC keyboard to work you have to install the Clicker.apk that is also available from the download page listed above.
